For many, Saymendy Lloyd is an actual savior. Say her name in circles around the Washington, D.C. area and you’ll find that many know the advocate for change as a mom, angel, and saving grace. Whether Saymendy Lloyd is securing housing for the elderly, taking in women who have experienced domestic abuse, or advocating for those ostracized and up against the odds, Lloyd — with the help of a team of supporters — is a fierce and selfless defender for the community. We worked with OneX Studios to create a series of short inspirational documentary films to highlight Saymendy as well as other community heroes in the DC area.
